I seem to be all three of the main name groups in Magic. I'm a Timmy when I play green, white or red because I usually put too many massive high cost creatures into my deck in order to swing for overkill or block any creatures they can throw at me. I turn into Johnny for black and blue, as I always try to ramp into combos involving Bloodchief Ascension, Hellcarver Demon, Sphinx Ambassador, or the such. Multicolor brings the Spike out of me, as I'm willing to throw out all of my usual thoughts in order to win. I run Jund more for the multicolor Spike push in all three of my favorite colors than for its actual win potential, but winning helps : ) So, now that my rant is done, what do you guys see yourself as?

the way i am looking at it, if you aren't spike, you are limiting yourself to failure.
I kind of agree with Obi Wan Shinobi. In the team sense, while its fine if you are a Timmy or a Johnny, Spike means you are in it to win it. Tournament play is your domain and you play whats going to win. With that said I am, surprise, a Johnny. I like combos, I like causal, and I like high risk maneuvers. Timmy is all about big dumb beat you in the face stuff and if you look at my decks...they don't really function that way.
In tournament play we're all Spikes. That's what Spike is, he's the tournament guy : ) I meant in a general or casual play sense. I see you Collin as a mix from the decks I've seen. Your Polymorph, Merfolk, and Naya deck were Timmy/Johnny, while Vamps and Jund are your Spike side. Alex, I kinda thought you more a Timmy/Spike with both Eldrazi-Green and Esper Beatstick but maybe I just haven't seen your Johnny decks.
Polymorph became one of the more successful decks to come out so that deck is spike.
Merfolk, beats a lot of decks and if it wasn't missing 10 cards it would be even more successful, still Spike.
Naya, trying to be johnny, but was abandoned, tried to be johnny, but still spike.
IRSPIKEGTFO :D
